Your wedding day is your story and I’m truly honored to witness it. Each story I capture leaves a lasting impression, and I’m filled with gratitude for the moments I’ve been part of. That’s why, when I run into some of my favorite couples on sidewalks, trains, or in restaurants around Chicago, it feels like reconnecting with family because their stories have become a part of mine, too.

This wedding in Traverse City, Michigan at the Warbler House by Northern Migration was definitely in my Top 10 favorites of all time. These two kept their cool during a wedding that seemingly handed them crisis after crisis, but they kept their heads and laughed it off, thanks to a killer team of wedding planners, great friends, a fantastic band, and a zillion family members willing to get soaked in a downpour.
Kate & Eugene // Chicago, IL
Kate and Eugene celebrated their wedding at their home, a three story flat in Chicago that has been in Kates family for generations and after the ceremony, everyone paraded around the block, lead by a brass band, cheering and waving and crying all the happy tears.
